Nice view from room.
Hotel is severely worn down and needs an upgrade of all facilities. I would only stay in this hotel if I want to go back to the seventies Mallorca - in a very worn down and smelly version. Sorry Don Pedro but you need to shake things up....! :-) We moved after 2 nights to another hotel after I got the "turista-stomach" from eating at the buffet.
There is wifi connection only in the dinner room, you dont have acess when you are at your room!
Location on the beach, helpful friendly staff. Good buffet and opened breakfast early for us. Room away from main block in annex.
Having to go long way outside to get back to main hotel. Faded decor.
Location is excellent, just by the sea, dinners are very good with an excellent choice of food
Very basic room with no fridge, tea pot, hair dryer, lunches are boring - only énglish breakfast for hot meal
All staff was very helpful.Free WiFi.Very nice breakfast and dinner(except coffee, should be fresh) Fantastic sea view!
We did not realised that the hotel had charter guest on"all inclusive concept".Don't rely like this type of charter,it usually makes people drink and eat like pigs! And it makes a sad situations for bars and restaurants in the village.
Excellent value for money - we only had 2 days there "all-inclusive" but for the price we paid, the food & drink were all excellent and available all day. The location is beautiful, if quiet but a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The staff worked hard, the bedroom was clean as was the whole hotel and the food in the dining room beautifully presented. We had a sea view from the bedroom so could sit on the balcony and enjoy. I do have some negatives but will post those later but overall excellent stay for the money..
These are not really complaints just negatives. The food in the dining room although plentiful and well presented was fairly bland. We only stayed 2 days but would have resorted to eating out even on "all- inclusive" if we had to eat there for 2 weeks. There was variety every meal but mostley the same variety (barring small changes). The drink was good (wine/beer/spirits/tea/coffee) all day but we would have liked to sit on the balcony in our room and enjoy a drink but this was not allowed- why not? Especially as you could rent a "wine fridge" for a week in your room - so that implies it would be ok to bring in your own but not drink the hotels drinks in your room. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in room as hot were on-tap downstairs but I need a hot drink when I wake up to take medication and had to trail to get one. Also the hotel markets itself as having all sea-view rooms - this is not the case, some overlook the pool at the back and they tried to ship us to the annexe next door but we said no.
The surrounding area is beautiful and the beaches are clean with a life guard on duty most of the time.
The food was awful, a lot of the meat and vegetables were overcooked and the choice of food on offer was terrible. We ate out twice somewhere else because we became bored of the selection after one day, we were only there for three days. The bar staff were miserable and unfriendly. I found a cockroach in the lift in the lounge area, I reported it to the Airtours rep who assured me he would deal with it, the cockroach was still in the same place 24 hours later. I do realise that this hotel is only a 3 star but the hotel interior including bedrooms and bathrooms is looking tired and in need of decoration. The bathroom had brown stains over the ceiling and some tiles were cracked with mould in the grout. The patio door leading out to the balcony in our room was broken and difficulty to open. Only a minor thing really but the rooms have old fashioned very small TV's in, normally I would not be bothering with watching tv while away but the weather was bad and there really wasn't anything else to do! There was one working English channel, BBC1. I have stayed in the Don Pedro before in 2006, nothing has changed since then and I feel that the hotel would benefit from some money being invested in redecoration. I also feel that when there is bad weather the hetel should offer activities to save all holiday makers sitting in the lounge twiddling their thumbs!
good services throughout, quiet location (which is preferable to us)
would prefer to have choice of room location
Just back from a week at the Hi Don Pedro. Staff were very good, food was good also, there was a good selection every day. Very quiet location only a few shops nearby, we had a car so were lucky to be able to go elsewhere a couple of days.
Hotel is only a 3 star not a 4 as indicated when booking. Could do with a bit of modernization, little shabby around the edges but in fairness this was a budget holiday and what we paid and what we got was fair enough.
The location of the Don Pedro is absolutely unbeatable, I had a pool view room but I imagine if you had a sea view you wouldnt want to leave your balcony! The All/Incl. food choice was excellent, something for everyone and the drinks were all decent quality. All in all a lovely reasonably priced hotel in the most fabulous location.
As a single traveller I felt a bit remote as all other guests seemed to be in groups or couples. But this doesnt reflect on the hotel.I had my laptop and the free wifi connection was excellent.
Fantastic sea view, very good restaurant, away from the crowd
Note that the hotel is away from the main tourist attractions and all bars around r shut by 10 pm. Therefore its not a party place, but for a quite relaxed holidays
the hotel offers excellent value set in nice but quiet village no louts or large groups a mixture of clientel, rooms basic . setting superb all inclusive meals /drinks with wide choice
Excellent location facing the bay (you need a sea view room to fully appreciate the view).........dinner menu needs to have a bigger contrast to the lunch menu.............good value for money.
The staff were polite, helpful and multi lingual, the room had a sea view , the whole hotel was clean, and comfortable, the buffet dinner was excellent, large range of food to choose from, the breakfast was the same. I was on business when I was staying, but will definately return to the hotel for a break with my partner.
She's an older hotel, but has an excellent location and superb food. The rooms are simple but clean. The hotel could use a major renovation, but then it may lose some of it's 80's charm. Great all-inclusive value.
